The political gender wrap is growing. What does that mean for the future relationships of men and women? And how will liberal women survive the next 4 years of trump in an increasing male centered conservative America?

4B is not designed to "move" men. It is to protect women in a society that expects them to serve (in every way (without question).

It is SO draining to watch people who are fighting for their rights to exist and be safe try to spoon feed empathy to privileged people who could not care less.

My family kept INSISTING, "Trump says Project 2025 has nothing to do with him, " How weird it is now that a lot of his cabinet picks and his rally speakers are authors of/associated with it. Hhmmm that's odd. Ugh god I hate it here.

4B is not a sex strike, it's a lifestyle. It's not to move men, it's to protect women

As a disabled person, I’m so done with people. We’ve BEEN struggling with large lack of rights and abuse, like many other fellow minorities, and this hatred growing has been horrid. In the last 5 years I saw people go from respecting the disabled, to saying our lives don’t matter bc of the economy, to hate crimes rising due to inflation and people blaming disabled people existing for greedy companies making their lives harder.

Just, I want good people, but I feel I need to be a hermit to stay safe medically and not be the victim of another crime from the deranged people in my own country.

i’m exhausted of trying to empathize with men who view me as subhuman tbh. trying to convince someone of your personhood is one of the most demeaning feelings you can ever experience

edit: males are being insufferable in my replies, shocking

Even in Korea, the women who've gone 4B are not the majority but they've made a big impact. The movement doesn't need majority to be effective. I think it's more important to rally around making it safe for women to participate in the 4B movement.

I care about men's problems a lot, including that dating is a struggle. I get it. I'm an autistic woman and dating was a struggle for me in a similar way. People want you to shut up about being lonely and it sucks. But men have to understand that there are things worse than people not wanting to date you. Like disenfranchisement.

Honestly, while Herby isn't wrong the attention to 4B in America is largely women led, I would implore us queer men and mascs to stay vigilant too. Men betrayed us as well, and if we see a bunch of sexually frustrated conservatives, I think at least some of them will resort to doing some shady Down Low antics, and we can try to keep mind to vet men we hook up with, and if they voted for the fascist or you suspect they're looking for a hookup but won't stand up to support and protect queer people, we men shouldn't give them a crumb either.

Thanks for trying to look out for us. As a white woman, I can attest that they think they're immune to a lot of these issues. My mother voted Trump, despite knowing of project 2025, and knowing (but willfully ignoring) that I'm queer. I told her what she's damned me to, but her denial is strong. I don't think I'll ever get over this betrayal.

I'm the only female in my social group that voted for Kamala. They claim to be "strong" and "independent" but believe that men are just better leaders. Smh

It's what a TON of us trans people have been saying and yet nobody listened: "We are not the ones threatening you, we are the canary in the coalmine. Once our rights are taken away, yours will soon follow."

Honestly, as a man, im getting kind of sick of men whining about be left out. Idk how to express it, but I imagine that a woman would be damn tired of having to consider men's feelings when it's clear men don't listen. As men we need to crawl out of the whole we dug ourselves. Like I said, idk how to express it but that's what I'm thinking ig.

I don’t know when sexual freedom meant have a bunch of sex. It simply means having complete control of where your cookie goes.

If people think "oh this 4B shit is only online, touch grass", my 50yo Latina, spiritually Christian, very offline therapist ended our session today with "Have you heard of the 4B movement from korea?" after I told her some of my heavier lore. And I will be participating. I'm not doing it out of spite I'm doing it because I'm scared and tired. I'm protecting my peace.

It hit me that American women are not united on issues when the reaction to the Barbie movie came out. I was truly gutted to hear how many women said it was THAT movie/experience that opened their eyes

I think you bring up a pretty good point when you question whether or not American women will be "united." I feel like these kinds of movements are always easier in homogenous countries because the assumption goes along the lines of "my neighbor is like me, " whereas in America, the opposite occurs, and it's greatest strength, being a "melting pot, " all of a sudden becomes it's biggest weakness, in regards to revolution or class conscious movements.

I can’t speak for every white woman. But having grown up in a religious and conservative family, I was groomed from infancy to defer my needs for other people and especially men. Never in those words, NEVER spoken out loud. But the way my dad yelled and expressed his impatience in any situation where he didn’t get his way had me doing whatever he wanted for years. I didn’t realize I had been voting against my own interests until college and I didn’t gain my own beliefs until I moved out and got away from him. And I fully notice it in my mom now that I’m removed from the situation. These women think that they’re expressing their own opinions. They truly believe that this is how they would have voted regardless. And I guarantee you that at least half if not 75% of them would vote a different way if they had space from their male conservative family. It’s not an excuse, because we’re all in this now. But this is what it’s going to take to get white women thinking for themselves- getting out from under the spell of the men in their lives. They need community outside of family.

As a male Gen Z Kamala voter, I'm legit sad at how many douches fell into this whole ideology of MAGA purely out of lifestyle and personality. So many dudes got played in the worst way.

Many women are already settling for NOTHING for relationships w busted men … so unfortunately I agree that there will be difficulty getting majority women to accept the 4B movement - even if would be to everyone’s great benefit to do something that pushes them to do better.
