Joe's envy of the trout cooked by Bonnie is actually more understandable than against the Griffins having tacos and nachos with Alana.

The darker part of this is that we know Bonnie is a great cook, thanks to the episode where Peter is skulking around with Bonnie because he dislikes Lois’ cooking.

So Bonnie is choosing to present Joe with terrible dinner, oof!

This is why I hate how the later seasons have transformed Joe. He use to be a guy who despite his disability, he was still fun, outgoing and not afraid to stand up for himself (pun intended) now he's just a sadsack who won't even talk back to his wife who is obviously hateful towards him.
