I ashamedly admit, I struggle a bit more than them with being a grown-up.

“I don’t understand why you’re such a freaking martyr all the time” so real

Lois and Peter act like idiots already so it's no surprise Meg knows how to behave like an adult right away

The "I did it in like an hour (....) it's a house, it's a finite area. I'm not cleaning a town." Really stuck with me, especially when i moved out in my own.

I always like when Stewie is on Meg’s side. Wish they did it more often.

Lois' upperclass upbringing is showing. She actually thinks cooking and cleaning is hard because she only learned how as an adult. Meg's been doing it all her life, and knows how to be very efficient.

Nice to see Stewie being protective of Meg.

The line “I had all day to do it” was the most savage roast in this entire scene, in my opinion

0:53 She's right y'know. There's "working smarter" and then there's "working harder"
(I doubt it takes just one hour to do ALL of the housework, but still)

Whenever Meg is given a chance to do something, she’s always great at it. Lois and Peter probably clown on her because they know that she’s better than them, and they can’t stand it.

Lois surprised by Meg being able to have time to cook shows how much of a mess Peter probably makes on a regular basis due to his shenanigans.

Stewie saying "give her a fucking chance"is kinda like when he was defending her from quagmire "Stay away from my sister😡"

I love how quickly Stewie was to stand up for Meg

"Hey mom, where the hell is dinner?! I'm starving!!"

*(Meg produces an eye watering, mouth-watering, five star Michelin, 4-course meal)*

"Well, shit...."

I really need someone to write a paper about how Meg is a representation of the one child who escapes the abusive cycle that is routinely accepted by other members of the family even in moments of triumph.

I once knew a guy who when he was in college made a deal with a frat house. He would do all the cooking and cleaning in exchange for free room and board.
Mind you we are talking about a dozen college guys.
He said he got all of his work done in about two hours.

So...yeah Lois, stop being such a martyr.

I clean at an airport. Meg is me coming home to find out that my roommates haven't picked up or cleaned any of their messes.

I love how Lois and Peter got taken down a peg in this episode.

Cooking for 6 people is not bad.
The issue is cooking for yourself

I never tire of hearing Meg tell Lois how easy her "job" is. She literally just does what any single adult does in addition to a full time actual job.

Since I have my own house now I'm completely on Meg's side. It doesn't take much time to keep it clean, my mother was just exaggerating a lot.
