Uhh, don’t know if you don’t already know this, but if someone says they’re selling AirPods Max, and what you get isn’t AirPods Max, you can tell the website you got them from that the product you received wasn’t what was listed, and the website is obligated to reach out to the seller, or give you a refund. It’s the websites responsibility as the middle man to make sure all sellers are genuine, so if they don’t wanna loose money, they’re gonna have to create measures to prevent stuff like this from happening, like providing proof of authenticity, or some other way of verifying that you’re actually selling what you say you are selling. My local second hand website has had a problem with fakes being listed as real before, until they got reports that users were listing fake items as real, and so now you’ll see fake AirPods have their actual name in the title, and they’ll put AirPods in the description for visibility instead. Which is great, because now people know what they’re buying.
