1 Peter 3:21: A deeper look into the essential baptism for salvation.

In this video, we take a deeper look at 1 Peter 3:18-22 to demonstrate the baptism which eternally saves us is of the Spirit, not of the flesh. Several supporting verses in the Book of Galatians, the Book of Romans, and elsewhere are utilized to show the essential baptism for salvation is a believer's immersion by the Spirit into the body of Christ, not the immersion of the flesh into water. Beware of false prophets and counterfeit churches which erroneously teach the false doctrine of baptismal regeneration as, truly, it's simply a symptom of trusting in man's righteousness for forgiveness and redemption and a disbelief in the sufficiency of the finished, redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

Hey Jason, I know your real busy, but could you say a prayer for my wife Susan. I believe she is in Christ but she is very much caught up in new age thinking like Christ consciousness and she believes in reincarnation because she had a vivid dream as a child where she says that she was taken back into past lives. But there's also times that she says things that show me that the Holy Spirit is fully in her. New age deceptions can have such a bind on people, and really keep them from the freedom of the simple Gospel that you so powerfully convey in every video. Thank you so much.

Jason Jack, I love your videos. I can’t tell you how much they have helped me. I was a wreck before finding your channel, and it only confirmed the things that God was showing me. This was huge when we are surrounded by false teachings. I remember being at a Christian conference and leaving because I felt like God was leading me to and trying to show me the lordship salvation heresy that has invaded the church. I didn’t know that exactly at the time, but something wasn’t right. I’m so glad I found your channel. To have someone who believes in what you believe and explains what’s going on in the church with heresies is huge. It’s amazing to see all the connections in the Bible and how you can go back to other chapters that are related. Is there anything or anyone you follow to study the Bible that explains the connections or does God help you find them when you’re just reading on your own? My last question is are there any churches that preach the true gospel? Is there a specific denomination? I’m starting to think denominations are just divisions and ways to separate the different beliefs of what each one believes regarding salvation.

+Jason Jack Praise the LORD amen Dr. Jack amen. even when i (as unsaved as i was) was part of that cult i knew something was a little off when it came to the teaching/preaching of water baptism. the church building was a storefront with no baptistery, in spite of the ad infinitum/ ad naseaum much emphasis that was put on that you must be water baptize to be saved; should someone believe that "gospel" how and where could they get water baptize ? or if you go out an evangelize their "gospel" and someone is convinced. what happens next ? they go by the nearest pool, nearest lake, nearest beach or go to someone's home and fill up bathtub with H2O to be water baptized ?
bless you indeed, Dr. Jack for exposing this damnable heresy. God bless. Agape love

John 3:5 jesus talked with Nicodemus and told him that one has to be born of water and the spirit. So what does that mean in your understanding????

Amen Brother. Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, John indeed baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, (First Corinthians 15:1-4) in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed by that Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us. John 6:37 He will never cast us out. What a savior we have. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. The GIFT of God is eternal life. It has to be free or no one could be saved. John 10:28-29. See you in heaven brother.

The old testament had baptism for a new birth and cleansing of sin
By trusting in Christ for salvation we can be sealed by the Spirit, but Jesus actually told Nicodemus that we must be born of water and the spirit. Ok so we must be born of the Spirit , its obvious that is a reference to recieving the Holy Spirit, but we must also be born of water, it has to be a reference to water baptism, we have to put our logic to one side and look at the clear teaching of Jesus because we must also be born of water, without being born of water cannot get into Gods kingdom. Jesus said "He that belives and is baptized shall be saved so obviously its water in the water of baptism its in the Rabbinical teaching in the old testament, and this is why Jesus rebuked Nicodemus being a Jewish Rabbi a teacher of Israel
All proselytes had to be baptized into the Hebrew faith if you were not baptized you were not admitted into the Hebrew faith. The old testament baptism was also done in water, just new testament baptism
The terminology that Jesus uses to Nicodemus IS IDENTICAL! !
JESUS TALKED ABOUT BEING BORN AGAIN SO DOES THE OLD TESTAMENT RABBINICAL TEACHING ON BAPTISM
BINGO!!
Ruth and Pontius Pilate's wife were both proselytes.
Being born of water is also a requirement for salvation, its water baptism.
Here is an extract from the Jewish encyclopedia 1901.

"The Baptism of the proselyte has for it's purpose his cleansing from the impurity of idolatry, and the restoration to the purity of a NEW BORN MAN...The bathing in the water is to constitute a REBIRTH, wherefore 'the ger is like a child JUST BORN' and he must bathe 'in the name of God ' Leshem Shamayin' that is assume the yoke of God's Kingdom imposed upon him by the one who leads him to baptism, or else he is not admitted into Judaism. For this very reason the Israelites before the acceptance of the law had, according to Philo on the Decalogue, as well as according to rabbinical tradition, to undergo the rite of baptismal purification..."

Jason Jack awesome stuff we don’t get BAPTIsed to be saved but because we already are. I was baptised as a baby because my family is catholic but no religion was taught to me I just believed what God did for me. Me and my grandma she’s an eighty three year old lady or eighty four I don’t know somewhere around there now get this she is a catholic strong one born and raised went to catholic school with nuns and all my lordship relatives hate Catholicism so many religious debates happen because it’s always the us vs them mentality but when I was a kid and I heard this and they put down my grandma and grandpa and I can remeber a few months ago talking to her after there was a big religious debate on how Protestants are right and more biblical than Catholics and it never was a big thing to me if a person was catholic I alwaus wanted to know a persons bare minimum foundation I was ranting to her about lordship salvation for about two hours lol taking her down the rabbit hole and I got the simplicity at 12 so I am saved forever but we were laughing and she’s like you know it’s so easy you just gotta be like a littlle child to go to heaven. She was saying she believes childlike faith is what a person needs. You don’t know the joy I have because of this this was a big deal for me to find another person who just could focus on Jesus and I’m like you don’t have to stop being Catholic you don’t have to stop anything well talk about that later you have the correct foumdation that’s all I wanted to know. My grandpa was a catholic too I don’t know if he was saved a lon time but at the end of his life he was an alcoholic and of course
My lordship aunt got on him about how drinking your going to hell and I can remeber him saying when he was about to die a few days before he put his faith on Jesus. He didn’t listen to a thing she said i absolutely believe he is in heaven
