Seeing them all side by side, do you prefer nano texture glass, standard glass or a matte glass screen protector? 🤔

It would be a no-brainer if Apple didn't force you to upgrade storage to at least 1TB at a $600 premium just to have the option. That makes no sense.

I'm so torn on this decision lmao. I absolutely love the idea of near-zero glare and being able to do work in any lighting scenario, but accurate contrast and deep blacks have a significant level of importance to me to me.

Edit: I went for the one with the regular screen. If the glare ever comes to bother me, I'll just buy one of those magnetic, detachable matte screen protectors.

And 3 months after this video was made, based on reviews and friends’ experiences, I’ve really come to question the durability of the nano-textured glass. Seems the standard glass is less prone to scratching.

Wow that was the screen protector I was looking at. But about in sun outside hand writing on black background, thats is how I'd use it. What happens when you put the matte glass on the nano screen? That vs the normal one with out nano but with matte screen is what i want to compare.

Be aware that the Nano-Glass has less reflections, but the price is that nearly the whole display becomes grey as soon as light hits it. The standard glass reflects much more, but around the reflection it remains deep black. So maybe avoiding reflections by positioning the iPad is the better idea. Especially indoors, if only one lamp is the problem.

Please watch Jerryrigeverythings video the truth about Apples nano etched glass. This nano glass scratch’s at a level 4 MOHs, where as the normal glass will scratch at a level 6.
