I repeat to myself what I tell my kids in the car when they have to pee....

"4 more 4 more miles..." And the more I sincerely internalize what '4 more miles' means in terms of time and being in a car, it truly takes the edge off the urgency. And then I find myself reminiscing over fun road trips 😌😌 and forget about the dilemma! My own little mind trick.

This video is very informative and has instructions for women and men, who want to strengthen their pelvic floor, which is so important for a variety of health reasons. I gotta admit, in times where I've found myself in serious need to take a wee while being somewhere far away from any facilities, I thank the lord I'm a guy, because it's just so easy to go behind a dumpster or fence or whatever, and just let it all out. Such situations are definitely more problematic for women.

I've been driving for long periods of time, and I practice kegel excercises but it doesn't help me, been wearing pads for leakage for years, scared to have surgery and lord knows I don't want to wear a. Diaper. Thank you Doctor 💗

For urgency, my doctor told me that I should cut out caffeine. I tried it and it works! My problem was waking up in the night and having to run to the bathroom and this says improved so much!

That's what I do Dr Mandell. I work in a Hospital and sometimes you just don't have time to go, so you think of other things, before you know it your on your way home from you and God Bless you Dr. Mandell

I jog regularly. I find that the urge to pee eases if I keep moving rather than stand still. Similarly when walking.
My lady friend says it's the other way round for women.
Occasionally, I sing and play guitar seated in a bar, unpaid, just for fun. I find, even though I'm quaffing beer between songs, I have no pee urges a)as I'm playing to please my friends, b)also thinking about the next song whilst performing the current one. The concentration obviates any toilet necessity.
Only when eventually I stand up do I suddenly feel the need to nip off to the Gents loo.
