Who needs a Top 100 Games ? There have been some pretty big changes to Cody's top ten games of all time, and he wants to share with you all of the cardboard nuttiness that makes up his list. (There's a new #1 this year!)

You need to do another one of these, up-to-date. This list is even pre-War Room!

Always great Videos from Mr Cody 😊

Star Wars Rebellion is being bought for me on my birthday this month.

I've played four of your Top Ten (with you, of course) *and* I'm featured in the video. It's like a virtual brush with celebrity greatness!

Have missed you on Board Game Breakfast! Thanks for doing your top 10. I totally knew your number 1 was going to be the new edition. There's no fooling me ;)

20:30 is there a 'simpler' game like TI you cen recommend? ie a game that has negotiation etc, but doesn't take 4 hours to play, and where playtime is more like an hour?

I was wondering where about you would rate Gloomhaven (if you have had time to give it some decent playtime)?

Some guy in my club went to GenCon 2017 and grabbed a copy of Twilight Imperium IV in the summer and put it on the shelf for all to share. Months down the line at Essen 2017 I believe it wasn't available for sale, anyone know why that was ? despite Fantasy Flight Games having a large stand at Essen ?

Thanks for taking the time to post the top 10. I understand college can eat up a ton of time.

By the way, when you play Battlestar Galactica, what expansion content loadout/combination do you use?

Great video! Funny thing about Trains, compared to Dominion I would ordinarily always pick a fantasy theme over a train theme, but the fact that in Trains you actually have a board to interact with and care about what other players are doing and aren't just building a good deck for its own sake puts it heads and tails above Dominion for me as a deck-builder.

Another funny thing: when I was younger I used to design epic, all-day board games for my friends and I to play on my birthday and once I printed out a giant map of Gotham City and collected all my Batman villain LEGO minifigures and wrote stats for each of them. We drafted our villains and had ourselves a turf war all over Gotham, with police and, rarely, Batman, activity determined at the beginning of the round by a d20 roll. Imagine my surprise when, years later, I would see that same game idea actually existed!

Just discovered this video and we have very much similar tastes, many games in this videos are favorites of mine as well. Have you tried Gloomhaven? If so, would it be in your top 100?

It was a great, very insightful watch! Not a content complaint but the music is even louder compared to your voice, when it played at the end my eardrums nearly burst :)

An impressive mix of titles in this list. It's good to see Napoleon (one of my favorites) still getting some love -- I'm curious, was 4th edition your first exposure or have you been playing for years? And I definitely need to take another look at Secret Hitler.

I was informed and entertained...as always.

I REALLY want to own Twilight Imperium IV, but my three teenagers don't like longer games, and I don't have a regular group other than them with which to play board games. How'd you find your new friends who play board games with you? Any ideas on how I might locate people willing to play TI 4?

Some stonking games there Cody. I'm waiting for TI4 to drop through my door later in Nov or early Dec. Good stuff. Cheers Steevo

Nice list! Thumbs up for BSG!
Hearing how much you like negotiating in games, have you played Chinatown? If not, I can highly recommend you to give it a try!
