I have been with the channel since your views were in the double digits per videos. While I still think this channel is still criminally underrated, I am glad your view count is growing.

In regards to your list, specifically Firefly, I love the game. I have every expansion and accessory I can find. I once played a game that lasted 7 hours. It was long and slogged towards the end, but it was so much fun.

Some great titles.
BSG, SW Rebellion and Dune Imperium are favs.
Firefly is great IF people get the idea of : spend all your money to build your crew and equip them FIRST. Otherwise it can be a slow drag. Its hard for people when playing a mission focused on $$$ to spend money up front, but they need to.

I also like The Thing : Infection at Post 31 and Hellboy

I was supposed to play Ascendancy Friday night but it got postponed to next month. ☹️ It too is my favorite Trek game. Such a good game

Great list. Sadly, I got into gaming after BSG The Game went OOP, but I am probably going to pick up Unfathomable sometime in the future.

The only addition I would have made to the list is War of the Ring. Just like how Rebellion is Star Wars in a box, War of the Ring IS Lord of the Rings in a box. I’ve played it twice with my girlfriend, and each time it is such an epic and emotional journey.

I’ve always wanted to make my own game using some mechanics from the BSG but themed for the TV show 24. You have plenty of places to go, 24 turns to stop a nuke, and plenty of traitors.

I love Dune Imperium, Legendary Aliens, Battlestar and Firefly - all great picks, Cody. I would add the Hellboy board game by Mantic Games to this list.

Not on the list - but in my opinion is a must have - is Spartacus: A Game of Blood and Treachery, also by Gale Force 9. It's so good.

I like Star Wars: Outer Rim quite a bit. I'm eagerly awaiting more content with the expansion, but it fits the "other half" of the Star Wars experience I want.

I'm not as hot on BSG but been playing Unfathomable (the recent reskin) weekly over the last 2 months and love the fixes it introduces, especially to the cylon (now Deep Ones) attacks and how revealed traitor has more options now. I'm a huge fan of TV show BSG but would play Unfathomable over BSG any day...

Quick question on Battlestar Galactica please. Do you always play with 5 and how do you find it with 4 players?

My group is typically 4 but I love the IP and could try and get a used copy if worth it for 4 players.

Fascinating list, Cody...$$$ have NOT permitted me to buy "Rebellion", but I have a fair collection of "X-Wing", "Armanda", "Imperial Strike", which are very fun. Zombie games?... I own "Last night on Earth", which is fun (all expansions), and have "Run, Fight and Die"", which is pretty neat as well. There are a handful of games, some based on IP's that you might be interested in. "This War of Mine" is wonderful... so many great decisions, one game you might try and find is "Operation Tannhauser" (FF), which they tragically abandoned a long while ago. It is a sandbox game, WITH painted mini's... imagine IF WWI hadn't ended and kept going... there are the mystical Germans (for the most part), the gunslinging/tech Allies, The sword wielding (for the most part) Japanese, and the tech oriented Russians (The Matriarchy)... included are three maps, a minotaur, and over ten expansion characters which really ramp up the game. ANOTHER game, which you and your friends might like is "Space 1889", a game you can find on EBAY, these days. Imagine Verne, Wells and the "Steampunk" community created a game where we're already on Mars (Victorian times), and the RPG quality just gets richer from there. It was the first really well supported game system... additional pewter figures, resource books, ship mats, etc that i ever encountered. IF you like RPG play, it will entrall you. NOT SURE IF you like fantasy that much, but there is a game called "Stormbringer" which is an amazing universe. ANYWAY... more than a bit off subject... just hope you have a great holiday season. Keep up the great work.
