Edward IV does not get the recognition that he so much deserves. He won his crown by conquest winning it from a very disturbed king who as we know wasn’t a very strong leader, Edward however brought peace to England and won every battle he fought in, he was one of our greatest Kings.

This was a beautiful and comprehensive history of Edward IV. I think because he was not raised to be a King he was closer to his people. I wish we could see what he really looked like, that painting does not inspire an image of a handsome warrior King at all but I imagine in his prime he must have been a splendid King to behold. I think his deep English roots and his choice of a beautiful English bride show he put England before all others.

Edward IV "Grandfather of Modern Great Britain" had he not become King, we wouldn't have had Elizabeth II, The Stuart's, Victoria, and the current ruling family the Windsors. Edward IV, was a great Warrior King, and admired man.

Fantastic documentary - it is perhaps a shame that victories within the king's realm are not as well celebrated as similar victories abroad, and if they were, more historians would and should hold Edward IV in higher regard.

In my estimation Edward IV was one of the greatest kings in English history.He was kind, forgiving and a master of war.I believe that he did his best during turbulent times and his legacy is quite an impressive one.

Wonderful to see Edward IV's life and accomplishments outlined here. Although they have very little in common--are quite opposite in many cases--I'm still reminded of Octavian raising legions and claiming Caesar's legacy when he was merely 18 years old. What Edward accomplished after his father's death was beyond remarkable for a "boy" of that age. And he comes across as such a naturally happy person. Definitely one of history's most fascinating characters. As you point out near the end of the video, how differently would history have unfolded had he not died when he did?

Edward IV always feels like one of the most relatable kings.

He seems to have just wanted to have a nice time and been very comfortable in his own skin.
