Tim reminds me of Four (Tobias) from Divergent. The way he keeps to himself and is always controlled until he is alone with the love of his life. In Divergent, Four had to pretend to be something he wasn't to protect himself and Tris when he realized her personality. Tim was hard on Lucy (I mean she was his boot) and then he began to have feelings for her. At first, it was mutual, then it became more. Now, he only shows how he truly feels when they are alone. Just like Four did when he showed her his fears.
