As a Liverpool fan, I'm not expecting any kind of walkover against Man United. We still have to give the proper amount of respect as recent form means nothing in big derby rivalry games. We have also played very poor in a number of games this year although usually still managed to grind out a result.

The current United problems reminds me of how Liverpool were under Souness, throwing money around and getting mercenary type players in return who play like a bunch of individual strangers making constant mistakes and not seeming to care. What Man United need right now aren't big name signings, they need a core of the team willing to fight for every inch of the pitch and for the badge/shirt. For all the stick Maguire gets, and his very limited ability, it seems he is the only one giving 100% whenever he is on the pitch. The rest need shipping out for whatever you can get for them. For the record, I do prefer your lot over those frauds in blue.
