Delivering the perfect extraction of coffee relies on finding a balance between a number of factors that need to be monitored and adjusted regularly. Join Leo Schmidt, a barista from Mecca Coffee, as she walks through various changes that can be made to deliver a perfectly balanced coffee full of flavor.

All you need to do to achieve the optimal extraction is adjust the ‘Grind dial’ and make your grind size finer (decrease) or coarser (increase), which will depend on whether your espresso is dispensing too fast or too slow.
