Just bought one of these today, this is probably the best video I’ve seen on setting it up

Excellent video. We’ve been struggling with finding the right grind and didn’t realize we needed to adjust the internal burr grinder collar. Very helpful. Thank you.

I got this machine today and wish I watched this video first. I wasted so much coffee with the internal burr setting at 6, then 5, not going anywhere near far enough before jumping down to 3. Got there in the end!

I used this video as a guide, and after adjusting the burr dial from 6-3 and following the display adjustment suggestions, I achieved great results with my shots. Initially I was lazy and skipped the first step and the grind was too coarse 😂 Thankyou for this informative and easy to understand video!

Man you are the bees knees... I've watched a lot of people on the tube and you tell it like it is, explain the process and most of all teach hands on which is the way I learn. Thank you!

The funny thing is that I've just bought a Barista Pro, and got myself a Normcore tamper too. I'll dial it in today, right when my coffee is delivered.
Thanks again for the great content and tips!

Thanks for making this video, got my Barista Pro today. It saved me a lot of time dialling in to somewhat near a good espresso.

Just waiting for a better tamp to arrive it's a spring-loaded to 30lbs.

Previously bought a Phillips latte go 5500 it was rubbish and returned it the same day.

The Barista is a much better choice for a machine because all variations of coffee start with a single or double espresso, also having the freedom to buy other branded portafilters or accessories for the machine is great.

Well you make this look a lot easier than it is 🤣 I've just burned through my first bag of coffee without one successful shot! I decided to steam some milk and drink the last one whatever happened and found that the milk part is quite hard also! I enjoyed my first tepid, very bitter, abomination of a cup of coffee and look forward to the next being a tiny bit better. Still better than buying a Costa though, really happy with the new machine!

I use the razor to make sure the volume in the basket is right every time i open a new bag, then I weigh it and commit that to memory and put the razor back up till I open a new bag. I just weigh my beans after that (pre-ground, as I single dose with a Niche Zero) and it's pretty simple. I have had variances of nearly a gram for the same ground volume in the basket between different beans
PANTHER 1985 espresso is consistently 18.5g in my 54mm stock Bambino Plus over more than a dozen bags. This stuff is good, neutral, traditional style flavor learning toward medium or at least less dark.

This was my first machine and loved it. Highly recommend it. I eventually got a Specialita grinder and moved to the Dual Boiler. Ended up giving my pro to my brother. Still enjoy using it when im over his house and want caffeine.

Thanks so much for the awesome video. Got my machine today and without this, I would of been wasting so much but now change to 3 from 6. Scales on order so I can really dial in my coffee :)

Nice video Tom. Watching brought me memories of my first time using the BBE about 4 years back. This new grinder seems like a great improvement. I was never a fan of the BBE grinder so bought a Niche Z and the experience was far superior. Remember that with time using the grinder and seasoned burrs the dialing will get better. Cheers!
