Day 1 of Evo 2024 has passed and we already have tons of interesting news, reveals, and announcements on site here at Evo Vegas, so why not talk about it all in 1 video!? From SNK and the King of Fighters, to indie fighters like Diesel Legacy and Pocket Bravery and more we got lots of stuff. Its not the big "home run" announcements just yet, thats to come, but still its good to keep updated on everything!

So day 1 of Evo 2024 has wrapped up, and we got a bunch of fun little announcements for ya! Its not the big mega announcements just yet, thats saved for day 3, but I figure lets keep you up to date on whats going on! It was a long day for me, and day 2 is gonna be longer yet but its a blast and looking forward to giving yall even more news on site!

Also another announcement to note is for the indie fighter Rivals of Aether 2. It is a platform fighter which I know turns some people in the FGC away, but they revealed another returning fighter from the original game, and that all characters including base roster and dlc will be free and unlocked as soon as they release. Figured either you missed it or it being a plat fighter wasn't included here, but I wanted to share because I think that player first business model especially for an indie dev is something to be celebrated for fighting games.

Seeing the image of Mature had me losing my mind and so freaking happy. I’m so happy to have her back. I love her play style and look so much. Then I got happy for you Roof, cause your getting Vice back. So both of us win. I get Mature and you Vice.
Bonus: I really wish SNK gave us that Labcoat Precha because I would have instantly died and chosen to play her. It reminds me of Kyoko from Rival Schools.

I am so glad SNK decided to complete the Hakkeshu. Hoping they will add Orochi as boss and playable too. There is also one character they can add in for free easily and that is the penultimate boss character.

I forgot how good Diesel Legacy looked.
Kinda suprised Pocket Bravery got DLC, but it looks good.
Not exactly an EVO announcement, but an indie fighter named Dojo Masters did come out a couple days ago. Gotta imagine it being released right before EVO isn't a coincidence, though maybe it was to tie into that Steam fighting game sale that's going on instead.
