I noticed at the beginning ppl were taking normal size steps... then they realize what's happening and the ones in front start taking the teeniest tiniest baby steps forward and bigger steps backwards trying to hide the gap they represent

4:37 You are successful and the fact that you overcame adversity to achieve that success should only make you feel more proud of your accomplishments.

This exercise didn't take away anything from Ms. Espinoza's success, and I wish it didn't make her feel that way.

My mom took me to a play once. I was so happy. She found a local theater who had written and were performing a play based on the Redwall stories. The author was even there and signed books. I was so happy that she paid attention to what I was reading and recognized it when she read about the play in the paper.

I told my English teacher about it and then my elementary school decided to bring all of the honor students to see it, so I got to see it twice.

**They did ask a question about whether or not your parents took you to plays, so this is still on topic.

Books and money don't help much if one is stupid or/and lazy.

These markers have nothing to do with race. They’re markers of wealth and social status.

This video misses so many questions.
1) If you were ever homeless as a child take a step back for each time.
2) If you were ever subject to emotional, physical, or sexual abuse take a step back for each type.
3) If you ever lived in a location were there was less then 200 square feet per person take a step back and if it was less the 100 square feet per person take two steps back.
4) If your parents ever made less then $10, 000 per child take a step back and if they ever made less then $1, 000 per child take two steps back.
5) If your parents encouraged education take a step forward.
6) If your parents paid anything for your college take a step forward.
7) If your parents paid for any extracurricular activity take a step forward.
8) If your parents ever kept your money or charged you for room and board take a step back but if they returned it to you in college take a step forward.

The simple fact is that privilege is a sign of wealth not race. This white male even without my questions is negative eight on "their privilege walk". And here is the major point none of my questions involve race but theirs do.

I mostly took steps back or stayed in the back as I was doing the exercise in my mind. And realized as an asian immigrant I have to work harder and obtain all kinds of degrees and experiences to qualify for a job.

Ridiculous. Taking individuals and applying results of this round of subjective questioning to entire groups of a certain identity. Wrong.

I'm shocked to see that the writer, producer, and director, was named Erica Hernandez, while there was no Latino female representation, but 3 different African-American female subjects???
