What do you get when you cross a pastrami sandwich with your favorite burger? Watch and see as Chef Gavin combines two of his favorite sandwiches into one amazing masterpiece. The Pastrami Burger is loaded with beef, cheese and oh, so much more!

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef 80% lean
1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
2 tablespoons butter
4 hamburger buns
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
2 1/2 cups shredded coleslaw mix
12 ounces thin sliced deli pastrami, separated into 4 equal portions
4 slices Swiss cheese
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard

Oh man. Years ago I worked for Coldwell Banker and a few times a week a lunch truck would pull up to feed us all. I quickly discovered their "I forget the name" burger. It was a burger with swiss cheese, pastrami and a fire roasted Anaheim chili. Stil to this day, I haven't made or found a better tasting burger. Those were the daze.

Pastrami burgers are the best! when it hits you that taste just knocks you out.

I like finely chopping my homemade Pastrami and adding it to my burger mix along with some shredded cheddar. Then cook it Smashburger Style on the flat top.
