iOS To Android | Why I Made the Switch

Being the owner of a MacBook Pro and iPad Pro, switching from an iOS to Android smartphone may seem silly. I’m currently using an Android device, the Samsung Galaxy s9, as my smartphone of choice. So the question is, why did I switch from IOS to Android for my smartphone needs? In this video, I’m going to cover the factors that lead to this decision.

These are the reason I like Android over iPhone
1. Using a otg cable to transfer data to my external hard drive
2. Themes/ customization for Android
3. Browsing the file system
4. Downloading file from any website and move them around
5. The ability to side load apps from websites.
The list goes on!

I switched from the iPhone 6s+ to the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and I'm happier. I can finally customize my phone to my liking. I don't want to spend $$$ just to look at the same damn thing with a notch! As for the software updates, we'll see... hopefully Samsung will up their game in that department. 😍

Iv been with apple in the past. Getting away from them is the best thing I ever did. Apple doesn't represent value for money with all of the great android phones that are better for less money

Funnily enough, I converted from an iPhone to a Samsung S9 Plus about 3 months ago after being an Apple user for 10 years and I am very happy with my decision! Of course, iPhone's have their benefits but compared to the flexibility and customisation options, it feels like you're in a digital prison! I also ended up selling my iMac and Macbook Pro for the same reasons and bought a beefy PC. Pity about Apple's direction and pricing... Great video as usual, Thao!

Apple died when Steve Jobs died. Apple has to use Samsungs super amoled display in there iPhone x cause they have no innovation anymore. The S9+ ftw.

Freedom is everything. I always think about getting back to Apple but I think it is not for me anymore. Android became something that I never imagined.

I still think the 5/5s/se is Apples best design yet too. Much like you, i was waiting to upgrade from the 5 and the iphone 7 launch basically forced me to try android. I got the galaxy s7 and it's still running like a champ for me!

It's my phone, I paid my hard earned bucks for it.... I should be able to do wadevz I want to as far as customization goes.... That's why Android (Galaxy) is my preference. IPhone is just for the hype...

There's a lot of great tech channels out there that does amazing cuts and transitions, along with multiple angle and panning shots.

But at the end of the day, I really enjoy the simplicity of your videos. From the simple transitions to the simple background. Your personality really stands out. The enthusiastic delivery, the face expressions and hand gestures are top notch.😜

My Apple life started with their iPods. Every time they "upgraded" so did I. I stopped right before the iPhone came out because I realized I my iPod could do similar things the iPhone could do (like talk...lol). I made the switch to Android and never looked back. I LOVE Android's customization capabilities. Makes me feel like I have a different phone everytime. Creating custom icons is one of my favorite aspects. Right now my Google Assistant icon is the "hand of the king" from Game of Thrones. 😁 It seems appropriate. It guides me on my day to day activities.
