We don't have divorce here in the Philippines, just annulment from what I remember. Knew someone who got cheated on by his wife, the wife was pretty much dunked on by every side (by her family and the man's family AND the wife of the guy she was cheating with). She was just returned to her parents, symbolically returning the responsibility of taking care of her back to them (provincial part of the Philippines is family-oriented), so the kids stayed with the man and no support was ever given to the Ex.

Placing a permanent restraining order on my female partner was absolutely the wisest protective move of my adult lifetime. My only regret is not doing it years earlier. Men, be safe!

I have an eight year old son, and today he was talking to me about how he wants to be a dad. It seriously choked me up. The most I could tell him was just focus on being a child. Enjoy every second of your youth and focus on yourself son. His mother and I aren't together anymore (shocking I know). I was the "good guy" that always wanted a family, but soon learned that, that was not what women wanted.

Marriage rates have literally fallen off a cliff in America. There was already a downswing but if you look at the rates from 2019 to today, the rates have been decimated. I'm surprised the government hasn't taken notice or done anything. This happened in Japan and the government took it very seriously. Same in Sweden and Denmark.
