I’m so sorry people actually complain about your demoing, I love.

Regarding the leftover wood — a doghouse for the pups for outside would be adorable!
A house made for them, from the house their parents tore down and rebuilt together 🥺

I would recommend that you build a kitchen table with your leftover wood. My great great grandfather built a table in the late 1800s. My family still eats at it today, a well made table is an heirloom.

It’s a shame people are saying they’re bored! The reality is this is going to take a long time! I’m here for the journey - in fact I love it! The impatient ones can come back for the “here’s how far we got in 12mths” videos! Go Jenna! Go Nicky!

I am astounded that basically you and Nick have demolished an entire house with your bare hands. The physical demands are mind boggling. I admire you both so much❤️

Am I the only one that melted with Jenna said: "You are so smart"
"I love you Jenna"
"I love you too"
You guys, made my day. Where can I find a Nicky for myself? 😂😂😂

Leftover wood ideas:
• A pool bench
• Barstools
• Bedside tables
• Small lamp tables
• Picture frames
• A desktop
• Shelves for the kitchen, bathroom or office room

I’m not tired of the demo because it’s the reality of projects. But I am excited to see the rebuild process! Keep up the good work.

P.s. our dogs didn’t like the beeping on your broomstick house leveler. That’s okay though! They will get over it.

Watched you guys for the last 25 weeks of my pregnancy, I gave birth last Tuesday, feel like we’re on a journey together

I love how this is a slower series and getting to see the process in real time, even if it's a long time

I find it heard to believe that anyone is rude enough to comment negatively on a free video that they can or cannot watch, I’m so enjoying this whole journey, your face with your new spirit level was like a kid in a candy store 😂

I get the impression that the "planning" for the original build of this house was on the back of a napkin. The end result was beautiful, but it's a miracle it lasted as long as it did. A triumph of quality materials over engineering. Love you guys, I hope you can keep your enthusiasm going and rebuild this beauty properly.

Your issue with the table saw is you're not keeping the wood level in the saw. If you use the table saw again, put it on a workbench/table (this will save your back too) and then get yourself 2 sets of trestles and put one trestle on either side of the saw (making sure you set the height of the trestle to the same height as the saw floor), balance your wood on the saw floor and the first trestle, take a bit of the weight of the wood on the far side and slide it across to the other trestle, making sure it stays straight against the floor of the saw and the weight is balanced each side, it will go through much easier 🙂 Great work you two, you make my Wednesday's! 💖

I like the demo, so it never bothered me. I enjoy seeing the progress with each video.

I love how Nick is so involved in your channel that he's basically a co-host now - it's super cute 🥰

I never go through the comments that much but I didn't realise people didn't like the demo video's that much: I never had a problem with them! It's a part of your series, we only see like max 30 min, you guys are working hours and hours, week after week for so many months.... people watching should not complain that much haha ;)

I am not tired of your demo videos. You are showing how poorly built the house was and also how you are working on correcting the mistakes and make the house better. Love the fun facts and also love how you two interact so perfectly together. Keep, on showing us how you are working together and how you are making your home a better safer place. 💜

Yesterday I purchased a 2900sqfoot 130yr old house. Every inch is covered with carpet and wallpaper all installed 48 yrs ago. As a single woman, I don't have a Nicky, but thankfully I have to rip out only 1970s decorating. If you can do THAT demo yourself...I can tackle my job too

1. Never remove safety equipment on power tools, especially on saws. It is there for a reason. If you can't do the job with the safety equipment in place you are using the wrong tool. 2. When using a table saw stand to the side. Never stand directly in front of or behind what you are cutting. The kick back is powerful and can send a piece of wood across a room with a speed that will impale you if you are directly behind it. 3. Always be cautious when using saws, especially table saws. They are unforgiving and you will lose body parts. I will use a lot of tools, but I won't use a table saw. I have seen what can happen when you don't respect the power of the tool and it isn't good. 4. Before you use a table saw secure it properly. 5. Measure twice cut once. 6. If the table saw bit was a joke don't joke about that kind of thing. A lot of people watch your content they might not realize you are doing it wrong and try it for themselves. 7. I know you both want to do it yourselves and I respect that. However, when it comes to power tools if you don't know how to use them properly and safely don't use them until you do know. Talk to contractor or even a shop teacher. Have them teach you how to safely use the tools before you use them. As fans we want you to finish the house with all your limbs intact.

Guys, no worries about boring us with the demo. It’s just part of the process. I’m here with you for the long haul. Jenna, you were rocking with that hammer!!
