Been through it bro. 10 years of general/cardiothoracic training plus endless hours trying to stay out of trouble

I appreciate this. It can be so easy to only think about my problem when i go in. I'm trying hard to understand & document my symptoms to help anyway i can. Im also trying to consider the needs my surgeon has. Just as a man. Hey doctor. Hows your day?
Hey doctor. I appreciate the knowledge and desire to help you bring to the table. Hey doctor. I prayed all month for you and the surgical team before my procedure and ill continue to do so. I guess its easy to look at him as a sort of god. Thats alot of pressure to live under.
Dr. Buck i appreciate your videos! They are so easy to understand. Ive binge watched you for hours😅

I’m a scrub tech and I respect these surgeons so much for their work ethic, now matter how condescending some of them are.

I’m new to the field did construction from 15 to 30, (so I have experience working with emotionless people 😂) and then went into sterile processing and then a scrub tech, in my short time I’ve seen so much! Wish I would of went a different route, and made an attempt at life as a teen instead of taking the “easy route” to making money legally as a young adult - I’d be a awesome surgeon

Definitely don’t see you being “under appreciated” it’s a “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side” type of thing!

Are residents worse tho? Are you talking about private practice? Can you make a video and be more specific?

yes it must be an extremely hard and taxing job, but being paid 100-500k a year is not being under appreciated

Not sure why you think you are underappreciated. Yes you put in an enormous amount of hard work but I would say nurses also bust their ass, get paid less, and don't get the praise doctors do.
