In 8th grade my band class took a field trip to an ice skating rink and one kid, Andrew, tried to jump over a seal. It didn’t work. He broke his leg. Had to call an ambulance for Andrew. His story lived on as a cautionary tale about why you shouldn’t do dumb shit. Also used his story for a Language arts essay that I wrote on why the Clarinet section clearly has the lowest intelligence of any group of people in the world.
