JOEY JORDISON Still Has No Idea Why He Was Fired From SLIPKNOT

Joey has been out of Slipknot for a few years now, but the reason as to why is still a mystery, even to him He revealed in an interview some new information about his stay in the hospital and how his disease was affecting his performance, but still doesn't know why he was canned. So, let's speculate a duo of potential reasons.

Poor guy. He's one of the best drummers out there, part of a world class band since the beginning, pretty much everyone loves him and his musical ability....then ends up in hospital, visited by only one of his "brothers", then fired. I have nothing but sympathy for the man.

This is not fare. Joey is one of the founding members of Slipknot and he's the backbone of Slipknot's career too. Tbh today a lot people knew Slipknot because of Joey crazy drum skills, including me. Even me myself became a Slipknot fan after saw some Joey's drum clips. He should not been kicked out that way, that's cruel. But I'm still glad that the new drummer is doing a great job, but he can't be like Joey.

If what Joey says is 100% true, I'll not give another dollar to Slipknot. Even if they thought he was strung out handing a guy his walking papers in an email with no explanation is inexcusable. Paul died, tragically, due to drugs so you'd figure they would rally around Joey if that was the case.

Even if the band had a good reason to kick him out they OWE him an explanation. Especially since they had been through so much together. It seems kinda fucked up what slipknot did.

People still arguing if the band was in the right to fire Joey. lets get this straight the band may have all the reasons they need to fire him. The issue here is the lack of response from the band, the poor execution of the termination, and the complete disconnect from someone they considered family for so long. It doesn't matter of Joey is full of shit and just looking to stay in the spotlight. He's been the only person to come forward to talk about any of it to the public. To me that speaks a thousand words about the sad political and social state the band is in.

This really pisses me off the way they treated him his so called brother's he did everything with them , I also feel like he passed from a broken 💔 is this really the way band's are what the hell ?? Why would I go see them the way things went down .. the guy was humble

great video, man. I don't mind if you use just the regular mic from a camcorder or phone, tablet...whatever you use. But have you considered using a condenser mic and a compressor/gate limiter? just wondering.

I'm a really big fan of Slipknot and I'm not hating on them but removing Joey for not playing his parts perfectly seems unlikely considering Corey barely even sings live anymore. They're still a great live band but it's sometimes hard to ignore how almost everything that leaves Corey's mouth is intelligible.
