B17 Crewman who Gave up his parachute

High in the skies above Rumania, David Kingsley and the crew of the B-17 on which they served found themselves in extreme peril. Jumped by successive waves of BF-109s the crew had no choice but to bail, but when all the parachutes could not be found, Kingsley made an unbelievably brave decision.

See this...this right here got me emotional. It's men like Kingsley (truly one of a kind) they look at the odds and say "my brother's need to get out of here now", and in the solemn final moment with Sullivan, the expression from Kingsley said in a sense with no words "live to fight another day brother, I'll be fine". I can never express the remorse of his bravery and selflessness but I can say, Second Lieutenant David Kingsley is a true hero and angel. R.I.P

Rip KINGSLEY I wish someone could have held on to him but then this awesome story would never have been told. This man has my respect on so many levels. In a split second he was ok with not seeing his possible wife girlfriend or mom dad anyone all for another man to survive. I want the whole world to hear this mans story we lost a good one there..
