I have had my Model 3 now about 2 months and let me help you by addressing the 5 topics you mention.
1. Fun to drive. Yes I agree, but the model you drove is the performance version I think this is not necessary . I have the basic version, it is plenty fast (0-60 mph in 5.6sec ) and it cost 50% less than performance . Also performance has special wheels and tires that give a too stiff ride and the 20inch wheels are expensive to repair.
2. Super smart. Yes, it is more a computer with wheels than a car. A very exciting new experience.
3. No gas, maintenance.Yes true. Charging stations are plentiful and easy to find. The warranty is 8 years or 100, 000 miles. Tires, fluid changes every 2 years; that is it.Amazing.
4. Safety. Yes. The auto lane detection, nearby auto detection works well. Tesla takes the stress out of driving in traffic.
5. Updates. Yes, this is a neat feature like my iMac that gets better with each new operating update.
6. Cost .Teslas are expensive, mine cost about as much as a 5 series BMW. I bough my car, not lease, and plan to keep it at least 6 years. After 3 years the BMW will start to cost much $ for repairs, parts etc. In 3 years my auto loan will be paid off and the tesla will be almost free.except for charging expenses and I will still have 5 years on my warranty. In summary I would recommend the basic model 3 not performance (unless you just really need the speed )buying not leasing and keeping it for at least the length of the warranty .This will save you the most money while you enjoy your Tesla, assuming you need a car.

As a Model 3 enthusiast I must say it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made. You’d be extremely satisfied with it. Having said that, it is a big purchase so make sure it fits your budget and make sure you can get the use out of it. If so, go for it!

Hi Matti,
I can tell you something from my own experience some things about the Tesla.
My Father has a 7 year old Model S 85, my brother a Model 3 Long Range and I have a Model 3 Performance. Tesla is in my opinion the best car you can get! I only want to give a quick review, if you want more informations just text me :)

After 7 years the Model S is still a great car and has no issues! The Model 3 drives incredible and the Supercharger Network is simply amazing, you can drive everywhere without any problems and the charging is so damn quick!

Of course these are very expensive cars, but my brother had a VW Golf 7 and if you calculate everything, the Model 3 isnt so much more expensive then a middle class car.

Tesla does an amazing job and all three of us are very very very happy with it!

You should definitely get the Tesla, I've had mine for 5 years and driven 120, 000 miles and I'm still loving it!
Oh and after that mileage it's not even that expensive...

Good old cliffhanger, nice one! I've been an owner of the Performance Model 3 for 3+ months (UK right hand drive) and it brings me so much joy each time I drive it, its one of the possessions which actually makes you happy, smile and even laugh (when you forget to warm your friends of accelerating for the first time) each time you drive it. That's my main reason, and it's just the top of the iceberg, couldn't recommend more. Also, great video, well put, and good to see Trevor, whom I've been following for a while.
