Sometimes it feels like a real tragedy to learn of a project being cancelled. Grand plans from the likes of Dreamworks, Sony and Warner Brothers that will never see the light of day. But with premises we'd desperately want to see on the big screen. Today I have gathered a collection of eight cancelled movies that I think are some of the best we've ever talked about. The Cuphead Show was going to have a season 4. But Netflix didn’t give them enough money to continue the series. Therefore, The Cuphead Show is canceled. But I hope to see a renewal for Season 4 with a different studio. Because Netflix is just a pain in the butt.

Good news for the Popeye movie is that a 81 minute long animatic was leaked online back in August 2022 and its about Popeye trying to find his father and it’s an origin story

The untitled Dreamworks Plants VS Zombies movie was an absolutely amazing idea. Shame it got cancelled. I found a single concept art about it online, and it looks great

It actually wouldn't be new for Lego to reference 80's media in their stuff. In the Lego City Undercover game there's a bunch of references to 80's cop movies.

Yep. you can actually officially get those minifigures Homer being received through the dimensions pack, cmf blind bags, and the simpsons sets. SpongeBob is like in almost every SpongeBob set

correction on the popeye segment about us "not knowing the plot", we actually have the entire voiced animatic. I highly recommend looking for it as it's an incredible watch and I've done so multiple times.

Just wanna point out the Popeye movie proof-of-concept wasn't as much a proof-of-concept as a straight up scene from the movie. The animatic/storyboard leaked and the scene is there in the form of sketches.
