the AK-12 handguard is free-floating i believe. this means that the handguard is not all that stable, and as such, cannot hold zero on just about any optic

The m4 has been in service since the cold war, and is being replaced by just about anything the us military could find, including three of the rifles on the list. The m4 does not belong on this list.

You gotta be specific about which MCX you are rating. You guys were rating the MCX Virtus. Not the Spear or Rattler.

It fires 6.8x51 for the US Army but can also fire 7.62x51 and the Spear LT (Light) can fire 5.56, 7.62x39 and 300 BLACKOUT

The QBZ 95 is leaving service and is be replaced by the QBZ-191. I guess it wasn’t ranked nearly as high as they ranked them. The Russians are preferring the AK-74 over the AK-12. The piston tube is one piece and the rails are flimsy on the 12. Otherwise, it is the AK-74.

Bullpups are the best style gun, but they do have drawbacks that I'm unsure why they aren't manufactured to offset. Why do they always have heavy trigger pulls and why don't they all discharge casings down so the shooter doesn't get hot casings in the face? Why aren't they all firing a superior intermediate round like the 6.8? Why has nobody built a bullpup chambered in 6.8 that offsets these common bullpup gripes? If they did then I'm pretty sure you'd have the best AR right there.
