Thank gooodness Walter and Getrude Siemsen were part of those taught at Madison College, I’m blessed to have been adopted there at the old hospital, God sent my parents to Madison so I would have a chance in life.
I remember Mr Sutherland and many others that were teachers there

I was so fortunate to be brought out of poverty, the woman that gave birth to me lived with her children in a tent along the river, God had his eye on me. I’m so thankful!

What a comprehensive, well-structured financial report from our General Conference Treasurer and Treasury team! In regard to making funding appropriations to world Divisions in the currency of choice, perhaps some small print can indicate that such choices may be variable per financial year and per transaction, as there are many factors that may affect which financial currency is desirable, when, and in what context. For instance, payments in US dollars from appropriations would more practicably be effected by that portion, or those portions, of the appropriations being in US dollars, rather than being changed into another currency and back again into US dollars.

This Church is not infallible or above rebuke.

We have to be careful when we focus on that line, "...nothing else should absorb our attention." Why then did EGW spend so much time addressing all of these side issues? Because they compromised the portion of the text that says, "...who keep the commandments of God." We can't write off every concern brought to the table as a distraction violating the guidance of the prophet of God, because the guidance of the prophet of God is that we keep the commandments of God. That means, we don't compromise a single commandment even for the sake of defending any others we assume more important. If we break one, we break them all. We need to address many things to assure we follow this guidance from the prophet of God, and follow Biblical standards. We ALL need a revival and transformation. I know I do. I don't want to be one of those who think I am in need of nothing, and find myself naked. I need Jesus!

Besides the $39mm representing release of donor advised funds what’s making up the other $34mm (for a total of $73mm Other Programs)?? Typically, “Other…” categories are kept for miscellaneous items and relatively low balances. $34mm would be helpful to have insights on. Might need to be recategorized if these are repeating transactions (not sure). Just speaking from an accountant standpoint.
