Tithes should be given to ministries and pastors who are preaching present truth. EGW said that a pastor who is not preaching present truth doe not deserve to be paid.

I have to wonder if they ever spoke to any house groups? All the ones I know of have no interest in being associated with the General Conference. Many people have been kicked out of the GC churches and have therefore formed these groups and are not interested in any affiliation with the conference. All this sounds like is that the GC wants that money !!!

EGW states what is called tithe appropriation. We can give our tithes whosoever God impresses us to give it. The church neither the GC, nor any conference is the storehouse
