It hurts my heart to see this young man with progeria but it really encourages me to see that it doesn't hurt his to have it.
An easy life is not your friend and if you're not challenged by something you have to work hard to overcome you're not realizing your potential because that's where we thrive (overcoming adversity)

Sam was a real inspiration, I think of him alll the time. The documentary he was in stuck with me for over a decade and I hope his parents can know the impact their child had on the world.
It’s a terribly cruel loss, but he will be remembered by so many.
I can’t imagine the hole he left in the hearts of those who loved him…

I remember watching a documentary on Progeria many years ago (can't recall the name of it unfortunately). I hope they can eventually find ways to slow the disease down. These kids deserve longer lives 💜
