This is one of the most informative and useful videos I've ever watched. ON TOP OF THAT, it was extremely well produced, concise, and very understandable. I'm just starting this hobby of videography and I'm very happy I found this video. +1 subscriber for you dude. Keep up the great work!

Every editor should watch this video just to hear you say, near the end: "Editing is kind of a game of keeping your audience interested in your subject". Excellent observation.

I'm a graphic designer without a background in photography and no exposure to videography. I just got an action camera to finally capture all of the long distance endurance events I do. So I'm poking around in YouTube to learn about the basics of video recording. This is one of the most informative educational videos I've ever seen on here. Thank you so much for keeping the overall messaging simple while providing enough detail to understand what and why. I also greatly appreciate your logic and creative choices. This was amazing!

Question for viewers: I see a lot of tutorial videos with extra talk and entertaining bits in there. Do you usually watch those parts or skip straight to the facts/specs/sample footage?

I’m just amazed by how well you can express your ideas and technical issues. I wish all teachers had the same ability to explain things. Thanks, I’ve learned so much!

I like the way you add a philosophy of why a sting should be used not so much technical but the affect it has on the viewer to capture and hold their attention. They, the viewer, doesn’t know nor do they care they are being held prisoner by their own eyes.
