In some cases, people moved from New York to bring their pizza to a new town, while other restaurants put a new spin on pizza that you might just love. I’m so glad you guys gave Buddy’s pizza their props. Being a Detroit native myself, that is hands down the best pizza 🍕

I'm always skeptical about lists like this, but this is a legit list. Can't go wrong with any on this list.

You forgot my house
I use a dough that starts out with a poolish. It takes a minimum of 48 hours to make.
Also, I have a couple mason jars in the basement with tomato sauce I made with homegrown, vine-ripened tomatoes which is the base for my pizza sauce.

This is a bit silly. I live in New Jersey, where there are so many one-off local pizza places that it's impossible to say which is the best. Some of them have been in business for generations and have their own unique recipes. The pizza is great--but no one knows of them outside of their local area. That's why these lists make no sense.

Roberta’s is the most overrated place in NYC. I don’t know who they keep paying off to get on these lists.

$5 a slice, $30 for a pie cause he uses the freshest of ingredients. How does a can of tomatoes qualify as the freshest?

In what world can you justify $5 for a SLICE of pizza... "only the freshest ingredients" yeah like every other pizzeria says in the country

My first time ever eating pizza was in it home, Naples. 1965. The pies there are very basic usually a chewy dough, topped with a tomato sauce and a little cheese. Simple but delicious.

We got a place here in Vansant, Virginia called Bizzo Pizzo. You can get a large cheese pie, around the size of the one being consumed here by Mr. Willet, for $3.29. They try to sell you a $2 drink with it but I always consume water with my pizza. The Bizzo Pizzo is not the best (very little cheese used), but, at the $3.29 price it goes a long way. I can live for 3 days on one.
