The Ultra Eye puzzle is a level 5 out of 6 on the Hanayama difficulty scale.

The Ultra Eye solution is one that requires a specific move which you're very unlikely to find due to luck. It's an intentional move in a specific position.

The Ultra Eye is modelled on the News puzzle and is a part of the Ultra-man puzzle series.

Are the Ultra Eye, Beta Capsule, and Ultra Guard just weird, redesigns of older puzzles? I've never seen or heard of these before! Very interesting!

There's a quicker solution which is *truly* 1 move (whereas your solution is 3 moves since you flip it over twice plus the spin). Don't flip it over, but simply spin it in the opposite direction to which you spun it. [Indeed, spinning in your direction while upside-down is equal to spinning in the opposite direction while rightside-up.] That is the key mechanism to this puzzle: it either solves clockwise or counterclockwise, but not both (without flipping it over).
