You definitely have my respect for knowing that smoked paprika is sprinkled on the path to incredible dishes. I use it on nearly everything in varying degrees - it is fantastic on steaks and chops.

Little tip, cheese has to be a block you grate yourself. The pre shredded stuff has anti cakeing agent in it that messes up the sauce.

I make mine almost like that. I add a 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of cream cheese too it too. Adds a bit of twang that compliments the wash your sister sauce.

Tried this recipe out without modification, and it's great.
I am using unsalted butter, so I needed to add a bit of salt, but otherwise stuck exactly to plan.
In the future I might cut the cayenne down just a bit, and use whole milk instead of half and half.
