How to Remotely Control Someone's Screen on Zoom

You can now remotely control someone else’s screen on Zoom.

In order to use this option, you’ll need to start a Zoom meeting. Inside of the zoom meeting, ask the person to screen share with you.

In the screen share option, you’ll see an option called the control screen. You can ask to control the other person's screen here. They have to agree and you will have full control of their screen if they share their entire screen with you.

Great video. However the "Request remote control" was missing? One instruction is missing. In my Account/Settings/In Meetings basic I needed to enable:
Remote Control
During screen sharing, the person who is sharing can allow others to control the shared content"

Great video, easy to understand. The Request Remote Control option doesn't come up in the drop down box for me. ☹This feature would be a big help for my elderly Mom when she gets stuck doing something on her laptop. She lives in a different state so to have access to her screen remotely would be a game changer. Bummed that I can't do this.

This did not work no matter how many times I changed my settings. The only options I have is Enter/Exit Fullscreen and Original size.

I don't have the option in the pull-down menu at the top. Mine says "stop remote access" but I haven't gotten it yet. How do I ask for it?

I don't see this option is it for iPads only? I did change some setting on the zoom website - perhaps this has changed in 2 years since the video came out.
