Combine 1.5 cup warm milk, 1pkg bread yeast.
Combine 3c ap flour, pinch salt, tbsp sugar.
Mix until dough ball, add pad of butter. When soft, put in oiled bowl, grease and put in baking tin. Allow to rise 45m, bake at 350°f for 30m.

Extras, because I regularly make bread and this shit can be tricky:
-Note 1: "warm milk" means under 115°f. Anything over 115 will KILL your yeast. Microwave it for about 45 seconds. If needed, hit it with another 5 or 10, but if it feels the same temperature as your hand, or barely warm, it's right. In the old days, it was called "blood warm" due to yeast working best at body temperature (98-100°f)
-Note 2: bread yeast (active dry), instant yeast, and bread machine yeast are different. Aim for active dry. If you can't find it, follow proofing directions on your yeast packet/jar.
-Note 3: don't over-proof (rise) your dough. Only let it hang out for the amount of time specified, or it'll be flat and disappointing.

After you got your long shape of your dough, cut the pieces in 4, turn each piece 90 degrees and then pack them into your bread pan. It helps to get you a much neater slice with less holes.

What sucks about home made bread is that you have to eat it all pretty quick while it's fresh or it'll get hard as a rock and only good for making croutons.
