Rishi Sunak failed to rule out raising the state pension age to 75 in a bid to shore up finances.

The prime minister was asked the question by Keir Starmer during PMQs on Wednesday 1 May.

The Labour leader asked the question in reference to a remark made by Conservative peer Lord Frost.

This is so wrong! He could retire tomorrow if he wanted whilst the “poors” have to work till they drop dead. Tories are a disgrace. All those politicians sitting in that Parliament can retire at 55 if they wanted.

People in their seventies in the construction industry would become a health and safety issue for themselves and fellow workers. Climbing up a forty foot ladder with tools on your back. Some are fitter than others but you can’t get away from the fact that over half century on the tools takes its toll

Timed served electronic engineer with 3 degrees and I struggled to find work at 55, Get rich Rishi is a disgrace. Interesting that his father in laws company found oil off the shores of Gaza 2 years ago, and Rishi supports the war, must be coincidence..
