The battle of the bags: every day carry EDC bags for photographers and content creators. Here I toss my old standard Eagle Creek Crossbody Bag for a new love. Will it be the @HEX Ranger DSLR Sling? Or how about the slick @bellroy_official Venture Camera Sling?

I'M ON A QUEST: For culture cuisine, and connection — in every country in the world. For over ten years, I’ve been riding around the world alone on my motorcycle. I’m not going to stop until I’ve ridden through every country in the world.

WorldRider-TV is my YouTube Channel that captures the raw essence of solo travel around the world on a motorcycle. Some videos are raw and rough, while others are edited and produced. Everything is real and authentic. I’m not out to ride the toughest roads, climb the highest mountains, search for ghosts, or solve mysteries.

I am out to meet the beautiful people of this world, try to understand their culture, and learn about their history. All along enjoying good food, drink, and laughs. We all share much more in common than we have differences. I’m blown away by the kindness of strangers and how many times I’ve been brought into the homes and families of people everywhere.

There are no strangers in this world, only friends I haven’t met. SO I hope I meet you. Meanwhile, join me and subscribe to my YouTube Channel, follow me in the usual places like Instagram and Facebook.

================
It all started on July 4th—symbolic of freedom and independence in my home country, USA. I set off alone on my trusty BMW F650GS Dakar motorcycle to travel the world. I didn’t know exactly where I’d go or how long it would take. After three years traveling through thirty-five countries and five continents, I returned home in California and wrote the book that documented that adventure in stories, photos, and recipes: FORKS: A QUEST FOR CULTURE, CUISINE, AND CONNECTION.

Then came a one-year cross country book tour in his legendary “FORKS Van,” then a television show on THE COOKING CHANNEL, inspirational speaking gigs, and much more. All along, I continue to ride the world months at a time, returning home to work and save for the next segment—always leaving my motorcycle in some garage somewhere around the world.

Hi!. Only just picked up on this comparative review. I have both these bags. I've had the Bellroy for quite a while. I wanted something a bit smaller for minimal carry - say 6 to 8 litre. Saw the Hex and pulled the trigger but it's a bit bigger than I measured out. I like the ability of both bags to be cinched down to contents volume. It's a good review video you made and still relevant.

I am in Australia, definitely support the Aussie brand. I just got it with double discount price at USD 118. Seems like a price that I cannot miss.

Wandrd Roam 9L or 6L sling sounds like what you need . My favorite bag ever . It’s a bit pricey but less than the Bellroy .

What turns me off is the pricing of bellroy sling and the lack of tablet compartment. For the same amount of price, peak design everyday sling V2 is slightly better, but it's also bulkier than bellroy sling

Have you tried the Belroy venture Sling (ie the non camera version) It’s a good sling with tablet capability.

I have the Hex DSLR sling, and I like it, but I hate its flimsy dividers.

Great Video, thanks! I also think the Bellroy is missing a nice slot for a Tablet, it could've been so easy to implement. And that price sure is steep... Still thinking about getting one though. Have you been using it? If so, what's your experience? Cheers!

I have the Hex but I find it to be good for legit photography session but for personal use the zippers are too jingly and noisy. I have the Ulanzi shoulder bag for the personal use.
