It's funny because even after the explanation, I still think none of us can understand how hard it truly is

Honestly, the skills move so swiftly it’s hard to see in real time!

Seeing the progression that leads into the skill helps a lot in understanding how difficult it is.

I want to point this out, before hidetaka miyachi doing this, this skill was performed several times by Andreas Bretschneider of Germany, but he failed to attemp it at the rio Olympics in 2016, so it was named after miyachi, let's appreciate Andreas for doing it for the first time in the world 🙌🙌🙌👏

No one could've imagined this move 20 years ago... it's insane!

whats even more impressive about the way her performs his skill, not only is it extremely hard but he keeps his legs together and points his toes! wow !!

I love how the tutorial shows the steps up to it but it’s the master that they used to demonstrate the actual skill because the example person really just can’t do it due to its insane difficulty.

ELITE ATHLETES. So incredible what both the men and women do in this sport. Amazing.

Including the fact that I can't hang on a poll longer than 30 seconds I don't even want to think how hard it is.

could you make a video about some moves that used to be super hard but are relatively easy nowadays..?

plot twist - the original guy was trying to do something else and did this instead

Technically, Kovacs is 1 and 1/2 flips or 1 and 1/3 depending on how it’s caught. Everyone like to say it’s a double flip over the bar, but a back flip from your hands to your hands is only one flip, but then you add the rotation from the travel on the front side of the bar to the rear, and you end up with 1/2 or 1/3 extra “flip” or rotation depending on how low you catch. The more you know 🤓😅!

What gets me is they aren’t just able to do this. By the time they compete these crazy moves they’ve done it successfully several times
