In New Zealand, the traffic doesn't seem as crowded as in China due to its population and the number of cars

Similar to Italy: in Italy (only on the north because we care more about the environment than the south) you need to pay a tax to drive around your city if you have a gasoline car.
If yoi have an Hybrid (every type of Hybrid) car, you need to pay only one part (called "Area") to drive.
Then, if you have an electric car you're free from all of this and you don't pay the assistance for it!

I saw a program where a lady said it took her FOUR hours to get to work. But she seemed very happy to be driving. I think it must be a huge status symbol for them. Wow, didn’t know how involved it was getting license. You would have to be pretty well off. They are also going to have extreme pollution problems.

Wish my country could implement such strict rules for drivers. Too many people here have licenses and in all honesty have no business owning a driver's license. If the drivers theories and on road tests could be on the same level of aptitude as pilot's licenses a lot more people would be alive today.

So good not to have any road rage. I wish the western drivers were more forgiving - my hubby’s drivers window got smashed last week by an angry driver because he said my hubby was too close (and we are in nice little New Zealand lol.) also when hubby went to report it to the police the police told him that they just had a report that another driver just smash the front window of another driver’s car.
