Sadly this method is technically pathched from android 15. I have a Pixel 8 Pro with android 15 beta 2 and they have changed OTG rights and "copy apps and data" screen. Hope this heads up can help you with finding a way to bypass it in the future.

I tried this hack with an Acatel phone and an Pixel 7 and it works, but google made now that soon as you hit the settings button the setting open but closes again right away. Has anyone for a trick to get around that. If so I would be interested learning it.
