Instagram Tourism Vs. Greek People | Greece 2022 🇬🇷

Greeks 🇬🇷❤️ for some reason, they really want to make you eat food!!, that’s their thing 😃 and I love it. But not everyone experiences that when coming here.

Instagram Tourism, is a term I am using to describe the trend of “traveling” to a place with the pure goal of taking “the Instagram picture”
I’ve been in Greece for over 2 weeks already and I tell you, the things that I will remember for the rest of my life about this amazing country, is the Greek people 🙌 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️, their love for life, their love for feeding me, and the unconditional friendship Greeks offer to anyone visiting their country is incredible. But so many people skip that for just taking Instagram pictures! 😕

I am a true believer that traveling ✈️ is one of the most important decisions a person can make in their life. It opens your mind, but it’s not just that. (This will be deep so stop reading if you are not ready)
We can only see the world 🌎 from our perspective, so the only way we have to really understand more of reality is by talking and interacting with other people.
Traveling without interactions with others is just like walking in a giant maze.
The interactions with other humans is what makes us change, and honestly, the language barriers mean nothing at all.

If you open up, you’ll find that people have so much good in their hearts and have such a strong desire to connect that is overwhelming.

I am leaving Greece 🇬🇷 with a heart full of love for this place and their people
