As a cabinetmaker I use the ratio all the time. Just multiply the thinkness of you materials and you automaticly have the shelf measurements of the cabinet you want to build. Meaning you get cabinets that are proportianatly correct to eachother

TOO MANY are not taught the GIFT of the GOLDEN RATIO that IS IN EVERYTHING. When an acquaintance could not see this to grasp; I said, "YOU ARE the GOLDEN RATIO. Our WHOLE UNIVERSE IS of the GOLDEN RATIO." This was too difficult for her to grasp. Further, I was puzzled HOW one ART GRADUATE DID NOT KNOW or had HEARD of the GOLDEN RATIO.
