Spaghetti with Anchovies and Breadcrumbs

This is one of my favorite simple pasta dishes, it's delicious, easy to prepare - and economical! Breadcrumbs on pasta are known as the poor man’s cheese; they are often used as a great substitute for cheese for lactose-sensitive individuals. They bring a nice crunch to the pasta and are quite popular in the southern regions of Italy, such as Sicily, Calabria, and Basilicata. Buon Gusto!

Yummy Lidia, my Sicilian Stepdad Mario, his mom would make this with the toasted breadcrumbs and fresh parmigiana lol and the noodles with the peas with breadcrumbs ..I always loved when she invited us to dinner because the food was made much different than my Spanish would make food. My 86year old mom and husband just watched this and we are making it tomorrow for Sundays dinner thanks to you and your team! Yummy!!
