Thank you again for speaking to our group last night. While we may never get to go back to the days of beekeeping before mites maybe, just maybe, we can get close with raising mite-resistant bees. To accomplish this huge task, it will require a lot of work and cooperation between all beekeepers, whether you’re a hobbyist, sideliner or a commercial beekeeper.

I’m looking forward to collaborating with you and others on implementing the strategies you discussed last night in my own operation. Keep up the great work!

Great talk! I'm with ya brother! I'm going to try to get a coop with my bee club for the spring. We have a teaching apiary that I'm going to try to use as a queen breeding class for our members. That way I can show the UBO and Harbo assay tests to my members! Wish me lots of luck, some older members might be hard to talk them into this new way of thinking!
