Chopping Mall – How the Cult Horror Film's Killbots were Built on a Budget

To create the killer security robots in director Jim Wynorski's 1986 cult horror film Chopping Mall, the special effects team assembled functional remote control robots out of low-cost components. In a further cost-cutting measure, Wynorski himself provided the voice of the robots.
