I did this fix on my drain pipe for a temporary fix. I used the stuff that works on wet surfaces, but i still dried the area as best as I could. Then i cut a pair of rubber dish gloves and wrapped it around the pipe and tied it until it dried to prevent the puddy from forming any air pockets underneath from any residual water leaking out. (I didn't fully trust the epoxy). Sure enough, it held! Then I covered the entire circumference with liquid epoxy for metal, such as JP Weld. It's solid and not going anywhere, and gives me time to save up for a plumber to redo the pipes.🤙🏼

Excellent video and great temporary solution to stop the leaking until the pipes can be replaced.

Great video and very informative but for those who are reading comments I will urge you to make sure the surface is dry and not damp at all, drain the water, dry off the area to the best of your ability and then apply as so!

Great video. However, also good to add electrical take to keep the epoxy in place until it is fully cured to the pipe.

Could work well but if pipe wall is comprised, thin rusted or what have you you can make it lot worse pushing this in hole and making hole bigger.Used on copper not good outcome for me but wish you better results.
