4 Ways to Use BEING in English

This video explains how to use BEING in present continuous with an adjective, how to use BEING in present continuous passive voice sentences, how to use BEING as a gerund, and how to use BEING to mean "Because someone is something".

Being as a noun:

1. Human beings are capable of great resilience.
2. The well-being of the community is our top priority.
3. She dedicated her life to the betterment of all beings.
4. The essence of being lies in self-discovery.

**5. In this sentence "She is being rude with her brother, " the word "being" is used as a verb. Specifically, it is the present participle form of the verb "be" and is functioning as a gerund, which acts like a noun in this sentence. It describes the ongoing action or behavior of being rude.

Being as an adjective:

1. She has a calm and peaceful demeanor, always being composed.
2. His being presence brought a sense of tranquility to the room.
3. The painting captured the beauty of a being soul.
4. Through meditation, he achieved a state of being consciousness

***Examples with Being in the passive voice:

1. The book is being read by Sarah.
2. The house is being painted by the workers.
3. The cake is being baked in the oven.
4. The project is being handled by a team of experts.
5. The car is being repaired at the mechanic's garage.
6. The documents are being processed by the administrative staff.
7. The movie is being watched by a large audience.
8. The problem is being solved by the engineers.
