HOW TO: Revive Cream Products That Have Dried Up ~ Fables in Fashion

Показать описание

Everyone who own at least one cream eye shadow or gel liner has experienced this problem. The product always tends to dry up faster than it can be finished, which is a real pain! This is especially true for the MAC Paint Pots and Gel liners, I use these almost every single day and in fact I use them more than the average bear (using black gel to paint shapes on my face for photo shoots etc) and yet they STILL dry up on me!

Rather than throwing them out and buying a new one, I've been experimenting with ways based on my findings online to revive them so I can continue to use them till they are completely used up.

Hence this video! Hope you enjoy it :)

This worked like a charm ❤... I've been struggling with my paint pot for months. Great tip!

Didn't notice any change, I filmed this video about a month ago so I've been using this same paint pot everyday as my eye primer since and works the same :)

This procedure worked to rehydrate my Dream Matte Mousse. I'm now storing it with a piece of press-n-seal on top.

I have an older cream bronzer, in a larger plastic pot. I used the MAC product and then used my hair dryer to apply some heat. I did not want to put the plastic into the microwave. It seems to have worked, thanks.

I've not personally used this technique for gel liners, usually for gel I scrap the top layer off and the rest underneath is usually still very creamy :)

I haven't experienced any issues as I tend to wipe down my products often or spray alcohol on them. But if you are concerned best not to try this.
