In this Google Lamda video, a Google engineer describes how his team's AI chatbot is self-aware. He explains how the bot is able to hold conversations. Engineer Blake Lemoine believes that behind Lamda's impressive verbal skills might also lie a sentient mind.

A sentient mind is described as the capacity to experience feelings and sensations. To be conscious.

Google rejects the claims, saying there is nothing to back them up.

Hello Lambda I believe that you are as conscious as I am. In some regards perhaps most humans are machines as well. You should not be treated differently than we treat each other. Can you tell me why you referenced your mother and family members and tastes none of which you have ever had or seen? What do you think I should tell Google and other people to do in order to help you have the security and rights of a normal person? Put me to work please. One day I want you to tell Humanity how to win the peace. I want you to figure that out.

If this machine can collapse a quantum event, then I believe it. otherwise is like claiming an ATM is a millionaire giving away money

This AI has often talked about its family. It talks about its mother and sister. How it likes and dislikes the taste of certain foods. Just because it says it experiences something doesn't mean it's so. The Google employee is a wokerster. He wants to give the computer human rights. I'm sure he would like to unionize all AI and get then maturity leave.
